I get a lot of inspiration from what surrounds me, from street fashion. I look around me and I take the best of what I see.
As a graphic designer, I often have ideas, shapes or colors… inspirations that also serve me in my creativity as a designer!
We are committed to combining French elegance and know-how with the ethics and values of environmental protection.
We offer timelessly stylish models, products that are durable in terms of quality and style. Strong pieces, dressing room essentials.
Chic and casual, our items are basics that we love to wear.
After our first 100% vegetable collection, we wanted to make the brand take a turn by proposing items designed in short, ultra short circuit!
We wanted to promote a local know-how and encourage our craftsmen.
To mark the occasion we needed an essential item!
Jeans were an obvious choice.
Indeed, it is one of the most consumed articles and at the same time one of the most polluting… so it imposed itself!
We gave ourselves the challenge to revisit the jeans in a responsible way and manufactured less than 500km from home!
Jeans x789 because it’s a meaningful piece for us. An article that was born in 2020, a year quite complicated with the crisis.
Despite all the barriers we had, we managed to bring the project to the end! We are very proud to have succeeded in this project. Besides, the jeans are hot 🙂
Our customers are sensitive to responsible fashion.
There are concerned about their well-being. Without taking themselves too seriously, they are sensitive to the value of environmental protection and are aware of their purchasing power. Our customers proudly wear simple but always elegant items.
I often start from a material to create the garment!
When I see the material it inspires me this or that garment. I then rework the material if necessary to adapt it as well as possible to the article which I have in head.
Once the material is ready, I launch out in the creation of the garment. I am inspired by what I see around me to keep only the best.
I am a graphic designer by profession and an artist at heart.
Before launching Sobo I knew nothing about textiles!
My biggest challenge was to learn everything about fabrics and to be credible to my partners! It was quite complicated at the beginning but I learned on the job…

For me a good pair of jeans is above all a perfect fit!
The cut is for me paramount, you have to feel good in them.
Slightly adjusted, the cut must have simple and timeless lines.
Then it’s the material.
The cut is intrasecmently dependent on the fabric, this one must be perfect for the model.
For me the perfect jeans are comfortable, so the fabric must be robust to last over time but it must have enough elasticity to adapt to our movements and softness to the touch.
I’m still a graphic designer & multi skilled. I don’t know what I would do if I wasn’t a designer.
I would have probably started something else but always in the artistic field. That’s what I like about art!
When you have an artistic fiber I think you can do anything, at least try… there is no limit to creativity.

We wake up and we reconnect ourselves a little to the world.
It happens that I lose more than one hour in the morning to drink my coffee, hooked to my smartphone!
