Country: Thailand What: Watches | For: Men, Women | Style: minimal, petit luxe | Category: Emerging Brand
The idea took off when we were in search of an ideal watch. For ourselves, we have been aspired by the minimal design that could complete our daily outfits. “What kind of designed-watch that we really want to wear?”
We decided to start designing our own watch collection in different ways. Timeless is our first collection for an everyday watch.
We think that nowadays wristwatches are functional accessories, and we are passionate to create the timepiece that can represent each one’s personality and lifestyle.
“If wearing a design item around your wrist is what you’re after, it might look cool, but how deep does that go?” Simpl is keen on creating a conceptual design watch exploring different ideas and concepts of time reading.
Leonardo da Vinci said that “Simplicity is the Ultimate Sophistication”. You’ve also probably heard of ‘Less is More’. Well, we simply believe so.
We just want our watch to reflect pure modern simplicity suiting everyone’s style.
We designed each collection to be as simple as possible with a story and identity behind it. Our creations defined to be ‘The timeless watch with the exquisite simplicity‘.
“I used to work as graphic and furniture designer, but designing wristwatches was something new and very challenging.”
“I believe that every design can be connected and adapted by creativity, so I started to create the timepiece from my idea with the belief that there will be someone sharing the same passion as me.”
Although some of the collections are a bit strange and complicated, there are our unique selling point of Simpl Watch.
1. Timeless Collection is an everyday watch with maximal minimalism design. The graphic lines on the dial are the main identity of this collection.
2. One Collection is the connection between the old and present time through our design. We were inspired by the single-hand watches in the 16th century. This collection presents a different way of time telling.
3. For our Reverse Collection, the handless watch comes with the anti-clockwise number on the dial with the delusional ticking.
In this collection we make complexity look simple. Most people will be questioning about it and they will be surprised once we give them the explanation.
We design all collections in-house from scratch starting from setting the brand’s identity and concept of Simpl Watch.
Before designing each collection we do work on the story and unique selling points.
Then the next step is making some research for the material and the techniques we will be used for our design.

Our watches use the quality material such as Japan & Swiss movement, genuine Italian cow leather straps, sapphire coated crystal with AR coating, 5atm etc.. Taking care of Simpl watch is pretty similar to other watches.
– Avoiding the extreme crash.
– The watch comes with 5 atm with genuine Italian cow leather straps. — Try to avoid wearing the watch whilst showering, swimming, diving and direct heat contact.
– If you have a wet strap, gently dry it carefully with a cloth and do not let it dry under the sun or next to heating. Clean leather with the use of a damp cloth and a mild leather cleaner.
– We recommend to exchange the battery every ½ or 2 years.
Why do we tend to create watches in an era where everyone checks the time on smartphones? Smartphones, smartwatches and analog watches are not sharing the same path. They have different types of watch users as fan base.
Smart Watch is like a gadget device on your wrist. An analog watch has an authentic charm. The moving parts fascinate the eye.
We think that analog watch is the timeless, classic and functional accessory. It’s a part of fashion, expressing personality and a lifestyle.
We want to give more experiences with the analog watch like adding new concepts through our designs.
